Diagnose and correct student weaknesses

Quantitatively determine student weaknesses using a number of provided diagnostic tests for literacy and numeracy. Students are then assigned worksheet exercises which target their specific difficulties. The research has been peer-reviewed and validated in numerous international studies over the past two decades.

Diagnose your whole school

No need to focus your limited school resources onto a handful of students. It is just as easy to diagnose a whole school as a whole class. You will get a clear picture of which groups of students are having difficulty across your institution and be recommended targeted exercises to help. It is currently used in a number of schools and universities to automatically diagnose and correct the weaknesses of thousands of students.

Create your own tests

Create your own test instruments on any topic and upload remedial worksheets or link to websites. Your own test instrument could complement those provided by Think Literacy, you choose which test instrument you want your students to complete. Share your test instrument with colleagues.

Easy to use and setup

Nothing to install, the application runs from a standard web browser through the internet. Just sign up your institution, ask your teachers to join and create their classes and tests, then instruct the students to register, join the classes, and complete the tests. Easy as that.

Secure and reliable

We care about the privacy and security of your student and institution data and so implement technologies and processes considered to be the best practice. The system runs on the best infrastructure available and will handle what ever your institution can throw at it. Rest assured that we would be as disappointed as you if Think Literacy was not available when you sit a class down in front of it.

Research supported

Think Literacy is embedded in the numeracy and literacy research community and serves as a platform for conducting research studies across different geographic, cultural, language, and socio-economic groups of students. Researchers slice and dice the anonymous data across different variables from the massive dataset to extract useful information which would be impossible to collect otherwise. This research results in improved techniques for diagnosing and correcting student difficulties.
